I've done alot of research on phoenix worms and have found they are used in MBD cases. They are loaded with calcium. They are farm raised which makes them a good source of food for insect eaters. They are good for squirrels, flyers and any animal that needs to maintain a good quality of calcium.
If you have a squirrel going through MBD, this is an excellent product to use. But please, do your own research on it, as this is only my opinion based on the information I recieved..
They sell them over the internet at a reasonable cost.

Define "reasonable cost." I have looked at these before - Exotic Nutrition has them, and they were CRAZY expensive...like beluga caviar expensive!! They are high in calcium though...
