Well, the chippy is caged again after escaping in my bathroom and forcing me to tear off the toekick under the sink. I finally lured and captured her this morning...

Through all that, I noticed when she wasn't freaking out and running around, her breathing seemed labored and she was coughing and sneezing when she really exerted herself.

I don't know how long she was in my friend's neighbor's pool for, but she was soaked to the bone and completely immobile when she came last night. She fluffed up and seemed very active and alert.

Does she need AB's or does she just need some time to recover? I have her on heat, gave her food and water... anything else I should be doing?

It might be because she's scared, but she doesn't seem as active as she did yesterday.

I would definitely keep her on heat and give her some good yummies. If you here sneezing/sniffling she will benefit from some AB's -- her condition was perfect for getting an upper respiratory infection or even pneumonia...:(

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if I should wait until she was SICK sick, or if I should start them as a precautionary sort of thing.

Also, bloody hell - any tips for sticking a syringe in the mouth of such a wild little thing?
