possible pneumonia case

i'm not sure what is up with my little girl but as of yesterday she has been lethargic and just not acting right. She has been making this little popping/clicking noise when she breathes so i thought it might be aspiration pneumonia. after reading a few forums about it i'm not so sure i watched the video from fudgy and its sounds like its coming from her nose or mouth and not her lungs and the noise doesn't happen all the time. it almost seems positional and neither her appetite or bathroom habits have changed. my girlfriend works at a vet clinic and brought me some clavamox but i don't know the dosage for a squirrel, i have the liquid solution that is 62.5mg/ml. if anyone can give me advice about whether or not i should administer and how much i would be greatful. she is 10 weeks old and weaning i'm wondering if that might be a contributing factor.

Do you know if she has ever aspirated? If you can keep her on formula, that is ideal.
What is her weight? That's how a dose can be calculated for you. Can you post a picture?
Are we talking about a grey squirrel?

she is an eastern grey, she still takes formula 2-3x a day, yesterday she sneezed while she was eating (i think because its was starting to come out her nose) i put her formula in a small water bottle since she doesn't seem to want to take the nipple anymore and when i put it in a small dish she dunks her nose in as she tries to drink and i think that might be how she is aspirating.

get yogurt or a probiotic too while you are out.
Clav is hard hard on the upper GI...
you need something, ben bac, acidiopholis...I use yogurt, Dannon all natural vanilla...
two hours before or after med administration.:thumbsup

You are the babies eyes and ears (momma) you have to make that decision...
but if so..probiotics are NEEDED.

I gave her the first dose and feed her morning meal she is sleeping in her ferret sock at the moment, i will update when her condition changes

Update: she is up and rambunctious as ever. She is back to being her squirrelly self. I am a little sorry i waited so long to med her but I'm glad i was sure before i gave it to her.
