I know there's other posts regarding this issue, but their within a post by a different title. They all pertain to another issue. Can't find what I'm looking for. Here's the issue.
Scrat will be starting her 8th year in two months. She's on Phenobarbatol for seizures. Also magnesium for same issue. I cut up a 250mg tablet. a 1/8th of it smashed and put into a syringe holder. I've mixed in ensure to the magnesum . She started having mushy poop. Stopped the ensure and went to orange juice. Her poop got normal and last week had to stop the orange juice beause her mushy poop came back. So now I'm mixing in her mixed berry juice to the magnesum instead. She's been on the mixed berry juice for 4 or 5 years with no issues. So my guess it's either the phenobarbatol or the magnesum that's causing the mushy poop. I'm thinking the magnesum. Instead of twice daily I'm thinking only once. The magnesum helps with the seizures so don't want to stop it. Or it could be the pheno, but can't stop it either. Any suggestions on what might be done to get her poop back to normal. She's had the mushies now for two weeks.
