Hi everyone! First of all i want to say THANK YOU for all the help you have given me since i became a member and first got my two baby boys. Just as an update My big boy Monkey is no longer being sucked on by his little brother, he responded very well to Baytril and after 5 days of the meds and 2 weeks of being separated they are now back together and very happy!!

Okay- So they both are about 10 weeks old now. I give them play time in the living room while the other animals are away for about an hour every day to give them exercise. Recently Monkey (bigger boy who is almost off bottle- feeds 1x a day max) was out and when i went to go get him to go back in the cage for a bit he got upset and wouldn't come to me. So we did this slight chase for over an hour, with me just letting him come to me.. he would. He jumped all over me and played around but when it came to catching him he freaked out. After he climbed all over me, my head and sholders i grabbed him and he bit me. Not as hard as i KNOW he could have because the damage is a minor scratch but it was enough for me to worry about his increasingly aggressive behavior. The other one who is smaller and takes a bottle 2x a day always is as loving as could be..

This was their general personality from the begining with Monkey being a crazy boy all over the place and runt baby always snuggling with you or playing with your hand.

Is this just different personalities or should i worry about letting Monkey have his free time to run the house? I feel bad if i dont give him time to exercise but i also cant risk him not being able to be caught because we have two dogs and a cat locked away during their time out.

Do you think Monkey is and will be ready to release before Runt baby?? I didn't want to do that separately, because i thought it would be less successful. What if they just are on such a different developmental level that i have to? Any Advice on this or advice on how to release when the time comes would be great! I thought i saw some posts available with this info so i will keep looking.

Thanks in advance for all your help!:thankyou :thankyou :thankyou

Below are some updated pictures- First is Monkey eating a carrot.. he always eats sitting on his little but like that!! Its precious! Second is Runt Baby enjoying a carrot :)mjs

WOW!! Cute boys, I have a very similar thing going here.
My two girls are about 13 weeks, one when i went to pick her up screamed like I was going to kill her and bit me. It was the runt, where the bigger one is the sweety girl, always ready to come to me and be pet.
Well I have found when they have their free time,I make sure their cage is no where in sight. If it is they stay on it, they need to venture and explore so they can brave the big outside. So when it is time to go back I bring the cage in and they will go to the cage, not right away but that is where the food is. I only feed good food and treats in the cage so if they want some that's where they have to go so it is easy for me to get them back in. So it works better than trying to pick them up, when I do have to I use a pillow case, they cant get away then.
