So I discovered the culprit. Green Peppers make my little guy sick. He pukes up foamy slime after eating them.... is this common, or just for my little guy?

Can your squirrels eat green peppers? What other veggies aren't a good idea?

Im not sure if thats common or not....my guys will only eat the seeds and core of peppers....and Ive never seen them puke green matter.

Both of my fuzz-heads eat the core -covered with seeds, but don't eat the main body of the pepper

to be clear it is white foam he vomits up, all I know is he'll never get it again. He likes it but man o man does it do a number on him.... :(

I have never had a problem with green bell pepper in any of my 867 sqs.
The only really big issue I have had with a vegetable was eggplant...
and knowing it is part of a notoriously poisonous plant family, we decided it was best to not offer it.
I almost lost a super healthy sq, Sarah. She too vomitted and then holed up for 4 days...
In your case offer lots of water and wet foods..help to flush it out!
Hope she is doing better, keep us in the loop.
