I'm not sure if this is the right section, but since it could be *potentially* life threatening, I thought I'd try. I don't know if I should email this person and give some suggestions... I don't know if there are any babies, but I would assume so since it's that time of the year.

Are there any humane options here?

Could you call him and ask him not to kill babies?.. Tell him there is a gentle manner of solving his problem: Remove the nest (keep the babys in the quite hot place), repair his home, put the baby back, near the old place so their mother will move them to the new nest.

Well... I emailed him... I hope he responds!

I referred him the wildlife removal service we've used before... www.humanewildlifecontrol.com. Hopefully he'll take advantage of the service - they are really good and know what they're doing. They're a little pricier though, so hopefully the people will be willing to do what's right.

I told him worse case scenario I know some people who rehabilitate wildlife and I could connect him with someone who could take the babies in the event the mother doesn't return for them.

Oy vey... why do people do this crap in the spring? Wait until the fall when it's safer :shakehead
