Lilac bushes?

I was wondering if we can give greys lilac bushes? I dont see it listed under safe trees, but was still wondering if anyone has given this?

I would say they are fine I see wilds eating them on a regular basis...lol....

I spoke to my vet today about them, he told me he would not advise it, stick with all the hard wood trees...Oaks, Maples....
Just a shame because I am going to trim someones lilac bush and its big...Oh well, I will enjoy the smell for a couple days...:D

Might I add, I had gone to him because I think I gave Skeeter an allergic reaction to another tree that I still dont know what it is....So I am going to stick with all the good ones for now.
