Put him in a small box with some fleece to hid in, something big enough to stretch out but not crawl around too much. If you have a heating pad place it under half of the box on low... warm quiet and dark is what he needs to start out with. Do you have any infant ibuprofen?? Not children's, infant, we can figure out a dosage for him . It will help him with the pain. If it was a cat, , they have deadly saliva, we may be in for a ruff night . Hawks like to pierce with their claws fly real high then drop them, he may have internal injuries.
Any blood coming out of his mouth, ears nose?? any brusing on his belly, maybe you cam look when we have him more comfortable.

We have many members in the St Pete/Tampa area.
Can your friend transport if one can take him?
I will reach out to anyone I know who is nearby and can respond, ok?
Please keep us updated if you find help so we know you found someone.

Very sadly he has passed. We took him to a vet and his injuries were catastrophic they put him down. He atleast knew our love and kindness
for a short time he was with us. He has a resting place we will mark
Thanks for all who replied
