Ok
The girls are just about 8 weeks old
Zuzu Petals is 130 grams, minds her own business, loves her solid food, always holding something and has moved into a hammock and wont let Peaches share it with her??
Peaches 186 grams, has no interest in solid food, she just wants formula, knocks ZuZu off a branch whenever she gets the chance and also takes away her food. Sleeps under any piece of fleece she can find on the floor.:thinking
Any comments?

My plan was to get a wood nest box but now they aren't sleeping together should I get 2 or is this just a faze.

SSM what you are describing is nothing but a squirrels individuality. One thing I do know for sure is each and everyone of these fuzzers have their very own personality and what works for one might not ever work for another.

Buy 2 nest boxes, you will always have a need for them.

OK yea.. I see what you are saying.. I was thinking of putting 3 or 4 up outside when it comes time to release them, in case someone chases then out of one, but I just see so many together all cuddly I was surprised ZuZu just bitc% slapped Peaches and moved out...

That one pic looks like they are hugging....
or is she about to strangle her??? :rotfl
Mine usually bicker a bit by day but always make up and snuggle by night.
Then again I rarely have just 2 so they dynamic may be different.
I try to match them up in 3's and that number per cage works well.

There will always a dominating personality in any relationship (human & animal) and you are just finding out which one is yours...... these two babies are still young and as Karen pointed out they will fuss with each other during the day time hours, but if left as they are they will eventually come together at night for sleep --therefore, my suggestion is to give it a little more time to let them work this out for themselves.

OK as long as there is no blood shed, mommy will walk away.....
