hey everyone boo boo is doing great but a little overweight but i just got a very small baby boy named bud row he is great but i think he has fleas how do i treat i think he is about 6 to 7 weeks old please help and b4 you ask he is in a separate cage from boo boo. and any suggestions for boo's weight issue.:thankyou nikki boo and bud row

For the fleas, the easiest thing is to get some Dawn dishwashing liquid...dilute in warm water and dip a washcloth or folded paper towel in it.....wipe down the squirrel but be careful of eyes and mouth. Then re-wipe a few minutes later with plain warm water. Fleas will jump off and die -- works great!

Do NOT use any products like Frontline, Advantage, etc on a baby squirrel -- it will kill him. If you really see a lot of fleas, you can use Zodiak flea & tick spray for kittens & cats.
