SFS baby advice needed

I've got a 22 gram flyer. Eyes are open and tiny teeth can be seen. Never had a baby flyer before I've handled juvies and adults. Questions are how old is this baby and how often should I be feeding it??? I'm not sure whether it's male or female.:thinking :dono :thinking :dono

Hi Lildukes!

There is a lot of information out there on how to care for little ones, so I'd recommend that you check out the available information here and at the NFSA board as much as you can for the best information. All the advice and information you need will be difficult to put in one post.

In general, you'll want to initially feed formula (Fox Valley is the preferred formula) until the baby is weaned.

their eyes open at 21-24 days I think, can't remember.
I never keep my notes...too much papers already...you know!:poke

Ha!!

Looks like little girl.
Maybe three and a half weeks.
I know you probably have FV.
We use .....
1Tbs FV 32/40.
2Tbs water.
1Tbs heavy whipping cream, and
1 tsp full fat natural yogurt.
Mix the FV and water together really well, then add the others and mix.
Feed like you did the bigger squirrels. Pretty much upright at an angle.
Remember that due to their size, they seem to eat a bit slow.
