Farm Animals - Need Rehomed!!

I am trying to help a friend of mine relocate/rehome a few of his farm animals due to life changing events and work that requires him to move and leave the county side he has been at for the last seven to eight years....... he will now be in an apartment living in the city as soon as his animals are taken care of.

Animals needing new homes:
1. White Pekins Ducks (5 females / 4 males) - 2/3 yrs old

2. Brownish Rouen Duck (female) - 2 yrs old
(her partner is running free on property, my friend is trying to locate him)

3. White Chinese Goose (Linus - friendly) - 3 yrs old

4. Pea Hen/Peacock - (Grettel) - 3 yrs old (friendly gets to know you)

5. African Sulcata Tortoise (Pumpernickel - male, friendly) - 15 yrs old
6. African Sulcata Tortoise (Pannini - male) - presently loose on property - need to locate to rehome.
...... I am asking Dr. Nick if he wants the tortoise, but open to other homes.
They can get up to 300 lbs and live 100 years and need lots of room to walk and dig.

Rhapsody...I know a few people in FL with farms...let me do some asking around.

Any special needs for any of them that I should know about?

My neighbors across the street are on a lake and just built a duck house for the so called wild local ducks, I will ask them today. :D

Any special needs for any of them that I should know about?No special feed for any. The ducks like grass, hay, etc... and are usually supplement with regluar chicken feed you can get from any feed store. The tortoise likes Romain lettuce, tomotoes, green apples and dry food as well... and he is very affectionate and come when you call him. The goose is not your ordinary goose..... he likes people and will sit on his owners lap when he reads a book outside, and he likes to run the back yard.

All the animals are friendly......... :)

........ BTW - the is "NO FEE" for Rehoming - just ask for a GOOD HOME!!

Friend lives in Parrish, Florida and will work with the new owners to get the animals to them.

Have you checked with the Local Zoo? They might know some one if they are not interested. I wish I lived Closer. I would love to take them both. Good Luck. :thumbsup3

Do you know how much each weigh right now? :thinking He is not for sure, but stated maybe 60 lbs, but I think that was more of a guess that any think else.

Here are the pics of a female Pen-hen needing a home, her mate has flown away with a flock of other pen-hens.
She is friendly, likes other birds and is around 4 years old.

I already have two people that are interested in the tortoise, so it is looking good for him. (and) I will be adding some Cat pics to the lot - so IF you know anyone looking for a cute kitten or cat for a pet keep your eyes on this post.

........ we are only thinking of the animals here, therefore, the owner is not going to move from the farm
until all of the animals have found a good home.
