constant sneezing

Stella is about 7-8 weeks old, 153 grams (small, runt in litter, but otherwise healthy & chunky). She just started sneezing constantly(about 2 hours ago.). Not as active as she usually is, no clicking. I do have amoxi drops--should I administer? And if so, I am not sure of correct dosage.

I don't know the answer to your question, but keep a watch on your thread here. Someone is sure to have ideas. Experts may have questions about her diet and feeding methods. They might like to see a pic of her, in case it can give any clues. Sounds like you're aware of the danger of aspiration, but as you mention, you're not hearing any clicking.

I would put her on heat if she's been off it, and give her 0.1cc of the liquid twice a day for 7 days. Don't let her exert herself, and keep her hydrated at all times. You might want to try giving her some Benebac or yogurt, as well, to balance the gut flora that amoxicilin destroys.

Have you changed her bedding? New laundry soap, anything been sprayed in your house?
Check her nose for fuzz...
what do you use for bedding? fleece? wood shavings? carefresh?

I see in one of your older threads, you have a vet, I would advise watching her, if she continues to be lethargic, I would go to vet and ask about chest Xray..I have seen mycoplasm start early and with sneezing, I have also found fuzz in the nose:dono

the dilution is 50mg/ml
if that's the case and suggested dose is 20mg/ml, I think correct dosage for 150 grams would be 0.07ml BID 7-10 days
You will def need a probotic, it is a cillan, not recommended for sqs due to the GI issues as IR has said.

I prefer Ciprofloxacin or Sulfatrim (SMZ-TMP) for broad spectrum ABs.

Thanks. I did give her .1 cc amoxi last night and benebac, but was unsure of my calculation on amoxi. Also, can you advise me on the amount of benebac; i'm always guessing. BTW she is not sneezing as much this am and her energy level is better.
