Ok so...I came across this information today. and wanted to share it cause its IMPORTANT!!!

PLASTIC water bottles with recycle symbol with a number lower then 5 SHOULD NOT BE REUSED!!!! They break down and the plastic particles cause CANCER! In humans and animals!!!

I wonder if this is partial blame for so many animals in the rodent family developing tumors...and cancer! I checked the boys water bottle and it was labled with a 1!!!!! STOPPING NOW I got them a glass water bottle....that hooks on the outside of the cage!!!

I have also seen that plastics numbered 2,4 are also safe but still not excessive use!:osnap :osnap :osnap

From what I have read.... I THINK....plastic number 5 is the ONLY plastic you can microwave safetly...same plastic they now use for baby bottles....food containers....and bubba kegs. The matter that it is made of is not heat sensitive or heat active. HOWEVER even though some of the other plastics are ok to REUSE like 2,4....THEY ARE NOT MICROWAVEABLE!!!
