I have no idea how it happened, there is nothing sharp laying around. Since she is not tame, I can't tell whether it is her pad, between her toes or a toe nail. She has been bleeding now of 20 minutes.

What do I do about the bleeding??? Do I wait for nighttime to treat it when she is sleeping?

She appears to be ok, she is running in her wheel and is not limping.

I tried to grab her once and she slipped out. Now she is scared of me. she won't even come to me for a pine nut, her favorite. I have been working so hard every day to build her trust. Now it is destroyed. I am hoping she is like Buddy, has a very short memory, I heard most animals live in the moment except when they are abused. I hope Lilly doesn't think that about me.

Can you darken the room or cover her cage in order to maybe make her go to sleep? Running on the wheel will keep that heart pumping like crazy and will make the bleeding continue. If you can get her to calm down and sleep for a while it will have time to clot on it's own.

Definitely need to quite her down
Do you have a smaller cage you can put her in?
Or just take all the toys, wheel ect. out so there is nothing to do but sleep.
If you can rub a septic stick or powder will stop the bleeding

Even flour and cornstarch will clot the wound, but if you can get her to chill you may not have to do anything.

It looks like her nail was pulled. From what I can tell, it does not seem to be in the correct position.

What happens if it falls off?

She is still being cold towards me.
