Hi guys. Last night I noticed while taking some vidoes of Darwin on my phone that both his front elbows (don't know what else you would call them) are missing fur. I've never noticed this before and they seem more bare then they should be. He eats a very healthy diet, going by the nutrition chart here on the nutrition forum. He eats plenty of blocks and has lots of time out of his cage. I do have cats in the house but they never are allowed in the same room together and they are both indoor cats. I was able to get one pic, its not the best and I don't know how to resize it from my phone. It shows that the skin is showing and is not pink, but white. Maybe someone could help me if I emailed them the pic? Thank you everyone!

It seems to start at the "elbow" and go up his upper arm all the way to the armpit on the back part of his arm. I'm getting concerned so I'm going to go ahead and try to post the pic. Its most likely going to be huge, sorry! His left arm seems to be a bit more bare, but it is on both.

Just at a guess although I have had no experence with it, it could be as simple as molting. It does not look like the usural pattern for mites but even that can be hard to tell at this point. :dono
However... my personal experence when it came to fur loss on my little one, although not on her elbows but it was at her "arm pits" trailing a little on the side from under her arms. Her skin was pink, no scaleing, ears were clean. I treated her for mites anyway and the fur came back in rather quickly. I've never had another problem with her as far as fur loss.

Just a thought....maybe she is rubbing on something....or again, molting?? On both sides, I would think its molting, but I am no expert by far. Just that my girl has fur loss issues too. Some is growing back in, but I am interested to know what others think, because it seems it is taking "forever" to grow back in. I guess this is normal for molting???
