Good morning everyone

Keeping busy here with my peanut girl that is doing so great. Thanks to everyone here that help me threw her MBD. But here we are today with two new issues.

One she seems to have a few fleas now. :-( and i think maybe ear mites to. I can see that there is some dirt cluster in both of her ears and since she cant groom her self well. She has been rubbing her head on her pillow a lot.I am lost as to what to do about her ears.

As for the fleas can i use kitty flea powder or dip to remove them from her? And what about her cage is there something i can use to spray it just in case there are flea eggs in there?

I'm so sad my baby has bugs :-( I have only pulled off 2 but hard to really see if there are any more. Just want to drown them LMAO And I think the sand box (AKA dirt box) I made for her is how she has these issues. That has already been thrown out. Please help me clean my buggy babe :dono

:wave123 Hi Josephine
Get some Revolution for A small dog or cat. Put 3 to 4 drops between the Shoulders, and the Head. ("RUB it to the skin!") Let it dry for a minuit or so be for you set her down. Now for the Earmites. You need to get some Medicine from a Vet. They are the only one who carry the Earmite Medicine. Cat Ear mite med. It is a Cream bass. It does not make them greasy. Dogs EarMite med is a liquid and always made the dogs and Squirrels hair/Fur look Greeasey. You will need to treat several times. I just remember the Name and How many times. I do Know you will need to repeat it.
Call me if you still need some help.Good Luck Christal.

Revolution , for puppies or kitties, one drop on the neck between should blades. It WILL kill ear mites and fleas.
Also Advantage Multi works.
Gently clean ears with a qtip dipped in mineral oil.
You will have to repeat the Revolution if you see her digging/itching again...
usually in 7-10 days.
If it continues after that, I would recommend a vet visit for further investigation.

Hello there MS I can do all that but you know what will happen if I take her to a vet here... Already had that one vet give me the run down of putting her down because of her legs or taking her from me. So I need to get the ear mite meds some other way. And if i call up and say its for my cat. Well he is going to want me to bring her in. (Crys) I don't know what to do.

I tried to get he revolution for my self but vet had to administer them selves wouldn't give it too me, BUT
I have another source I can try and send you some
In the mean time put some Mineral oil, olive oil or veggie oil on a q-tip and swab those earies out.
It will help to clog those mites,so the cant breath., until we can send you some Revolution.

I have a tube of Stronghold (Revolution by another name) that I will mail if you PM me your address. It has an exp date of 2/12 so it will be fine, but good to use it now.

Ok so i just did Peanuts ears with the Mineral oil. OMG what a good girl she didn't even move or try and get away from me while i did it. Her ears are so clean now. Thank you for that tip. I called a friend that does Cat RH and she is going to bring me some ear mite meds for kittens and she said it was a cream so that will be good. Thanks everybody :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown

I am not far from you but unfortunately I don't have any revolution. So far I haven't had any problems like this and the vet I always used was just sold out to someone new:dono . Let me see if I can make a few calls...can't make any promises tho.

Hey all, Ok so got the Revolution on hand. How much should I use on Peanut? And since i only have this little tube should i use it all on her now? I did give her a bath with a little bit of Dawn and that has seem to help a bit. She has no more mites killed those buggies. But i don't want to over dip her with the Revolution either.

Thanks so much
Jo

Hey there JT did that lady ever contact you? The one that is 13 miles from me. I really would like to speak to her. Maybe have her take a look at Peanut for me.
Thanks *Smiles*

Between the shoulder blades, part the hair a little and apply one drop to the skin.
Using a piece of plastic bag, very slightly rub it in.
You can use your bare finger, too. Just wash it with soap as soon as possible.
That's all there is to it.

Literally 1 drop. Put the rest into an airtight container. I have used it later on. A very tiny bit will do it.
