Crazy question about Flyers..

My flyers keep urinating in their food dish. Not sure if it's the same one or a couple of them. Whether the dish is empty or not, doesn't seem to matter..
and only in the little dish.

Do they all do this? Or are they trying to tell me something?:wahoo

My Jack used to do this. Especially if there were mealworms in the bowl. I think he did it to keep Tippy from eating the worms. Not sure. But in answer to your question, yes, it is not unusual for them to pee in their food.

keep it empty, maybe, it will become their official potty spot:)

My Anakin's favorite spot (s) are hanging onto the sides of the cage and peeing outside the cage....thank goodness for sheets and shower curtains:shakehead

Astra, that's a great idea! I'll put an empty dish next to it and maybe they'll use it as a potty, lol. I know sometimes my horse will pee on her hay when she's done eating so noone else will eat it!! It s a horrible waste.
Maybe one of my guys is greedy.:dono

yeah Sadie does it sometimes too...but she uses one of her hammocks for the bathroom usually!!!
