Question:
Wort is growing well, he is about 4 1/2 - 5 months old now and looks to be a well developed male. :D

Recently, and only once in a while when climbing on us,(mostly Patrick) he seems to drag his lower area. But I am not sure if he is dragging his bottom or buttons? I think it is his buttons... (do they do that?)
The reason I am a little concerned is because, the beginning of last November when we went to the vet he got pancur for worms. We did the treatment as prescribed and there hadn't been dragging of anything, until now...
He pees and poos like a champ... (the latter is like stepping on lego in bare feet...lol)
Should he be checked again? or Can I give him the same prescribed treatment, I still have the medication (if is it still good?).
Don't want to let it go if it could be worms....
Thanks
Kathleen

All of my squirrels, both male and female, greys and foxers, on occasion do the dragging of the bottom. So, initially, I would not be concerned; however, I have not ever had to deal with the worms...so I reserve comment on that part.
I just wanted to share with you that my guys & gals do drag their bottoms once in awhile.

Territory marking. Boys do it alot. They actually will eventually secrete a brown, sticky goo that they use - not a lot, but it is there...:shakehead

And I've read that they use that sticky goo to "plug up" their girlfriends, after mating, so that the next guy's sperm can't go anywhere! Ingenious, our fuzzers are.....:rotfl

Thanks everyone!!! :thankyou
They are so SMART... he is a mischievous and manipulative little guy... :devil
and we love him!!!
I really did think it was a maturing behavior, but I wanted to double check.
I will definitely keep an eye on it... one way or another...
