I have posted before about the bald spot on Skeeters head and molting n her sides....I have taken more pics to show you better.
I have removed anything in her cage that she may be rubbing on about 2 weeks ago..I have changed her diet a bit giving her avacado, snow peas, cherries and sweet potatoes. I feel that she hasnt been eating as well in the past couple days so I have put her back on her "normal" veggies such as green peppers, cauliflower, broccali, mushrooms, cabbage, but still giving her the avacado and cherry...and she gets an unlimited supply of rodent blocks..and eats them all through the day. She also is drinking water as she has always been. I feel again, a "normal" amount. Her pee and poo i also normal.
She is still the same old girl playing and running and doing her normal things.
Her hair doesnt seem to be growing back though.
If someone could please answer some questions for me..
How long is a molting period, should I see hair coming back on her sides?
I also read all the threads on mites and dont seem to think its that either?
Should I be giving her some other kinds of nutrients?
I hear alot about yogurt? Should I give her some of that?
I am thinking of taking her to the vet?? I dont know if I am over worrying or not. I really wouldnt want to put any extra stress on her by taking her to the vet, because she does get a bit crazy in the carrier and then in the office.
So what do you think I should do here.
Here are 2 of the best pics to show you what I am talking about. I greatly appreciate any guidance on what is the best thing to do for her.
The first pic I have posted before about 2 weeks ago or so. the last 2 are from today.
Thanks for any and all help!
And also, since I have changed her diet, seems she is eating more of the rodent block and less of everything else.
