I am completely distraught. My vacation is coming up in February and I don't know who to let watch my beautiful babies. They are about 14 weeks, brother and sister and they are soooo attached to me.

We have a routine in place that they are comfortable with and they have named their own schedule.

They wake up between 7:30 and 8:00. Drink formula off a plate and eat Henry's block. They play in my bedroom, which is large and squirrel proof, 20ft x 14ft until 1pm. They nap from 1pm till 3pm in their nest box within their cage which is also in my room. Their cage is 7 ft by 4 1/2 ft.

After 5pm I let them out on our screened lanai (with a pool) where we have set up big tree with branches and have decked it out with hammocks. Also surrounding the tree we have tiered potted veggie plants of lettuce, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, spinach, etc.

They love to root around in the veggie pots and we put acorns or other treats in the pots for them to bury and dig and forrage.

If you haven't noticed. I am anal about my babies. I worry if I have them babysat that they would forget all about me. I also worry about their care when I am gone. Iis anyone willing to take on this challenge? And what do I need to do to let my babies know that I still love them and will be back?

Wow, Pennyorf, I do not think that you have to worry that they will forget you with the life that you give them. How lucky are those little squirrels. You give your all. Good luck with a sitter.

They go to sleep at 8pm every night in their nesting box. Most times we have to pull them out of their tree hammock, which is on the lanai and where we spend most of our time, to put them to bed in their cage that is located in our bedroom.

I think, in your previous thread there were a couple of people willing to babysit your babies.
Don't remember who exactly, but do check your old thread about this - you might have missed offers

I do remember offers and lovingly appreciate them. I just wanted to give an update and be a little more specific in my post this time. I wasn't as worried then but as the time approaches, I'm scared to death! I have never had my babies babysat before. I'm starting to get squirrelly!!!:D

since the time is comping up, it might be a good idea to contact those offers about your concerns (not all people check all threads every day, you know).
As far as I remember, those were reliable people. But your "getting squirrelly" :D is completely understandable.
So, it might be best to contact those people through a pm or an email and discuss your concerns:grouphug

Just an aside, but you might consider putting a squirrel ladder or something in the pool. They are horrible swimmers and cannot lift themselves out of water (due to their having so much fur to get waterlogged) without something that they can grasp and climb onto.

I can always babysit if you drive them here.
FT Myers...about 2 hours each way.
I babysit all the time for TSB members...I have references!!!:rotfl
