So Mr.Squirrel keeps urinating himself, or licking around his parts. His anus and belly look like as they were inflamated. What's wrong?:dono

Sounds like urine scald -- this guy has multiple problems, I think. You should gently wash the area to get any dried urine off his skin. The inflammation may be an infection happening and he will need antibiotics. did you say you had a vet that would see him?

Hi Addy,
As I posted before, some people have been working on finding a way to bring your squirrel to Jackie for rehab and following release.
As I said, Jackie is great and your squirrel could not be in better hands. And Jackie has great experienced vets, too.
I just want to confirm with you that you will be able to drive for an hour to meet someone half the way, as the trip will be kind of long.
I know you said before that you could drive for an hour, but just wanted to confirm so that we can plan other people accordingly.

Okay, so my friend had the correct formula for him ( I was in so much trouble for not telling him about it before!), he is going to take x-rays of his paw tomorrow, and he gave him something for pain.

Okay, so my friend had the correct formula for him ( I was in so much trouble for not telling him about it before!), he is going to take x-rays of his paw tomorrow, and he gave him something for pain.
May I ask, what correct formula is that?
The only correct formula for squirrels is Fox Valley. Is that what your friend has?
With squirrels who are as compromised as your little one is, it's best if an experienced person is taking care of them.
Otherwise, their health problems (like this broken paw and his bottom issues) can become permanent disability.
Also, squirrels require a very specific diet, which is expensive to maintain.
They need cages, cage accessories etc which is another significant expense.
Then, a special release cage must be built, because not just any cage can be a release cage.
Most importantly, singletons have a very hard time integrating into squirrel society and adjusting to the wild. That's why it's important to raise them with other squirrels, so that they can have release buddies.
These animals are amazing and you probably got very attached to him, but it will be in his best interest to be raised with other squirrels by an experienced person.
AND we have such experienced person, and we found someone who can meet you to pick up the squirrel.
