. I've been reseaeching and coming up with all these questions. I've got the ferret nation cage that's a steel wire with two levels. Right now for the bottom I have carpetand fleece on top of that and some branches (which is obsessively chews on and breaks into tiny pieces) and a box where he sleeps with fleece. . . I'm confused and thinking I should have something different? Stuff for gim to make a nest, something for if he wants to hide a piece of food? I see him sometimes digging trying to maybe bury food, but just goes under fleece. . . I read they like Kleenex box's, they pull it out and make a nest? What do you line the bottom with? OH and they pee and poo wherever they want in their cage right? Even on their tree limbs? Those are kinda hard to clean the urine smell off of. Am I doing this right?
and I'm gonna get some pics up here after I take kids to dr :)))mjs

oh thanks Jackie :) haha on a lot of stuff you said... they are CERTAINLY quite the little slobs :shakehead ... I am such a clean freak :tilt even with 6 kids, two dogs, (one which wears a diaper, sigh) a bird and all the other kids that seem to wonder in my house, lol... and now DEXTER... i just have to get use to NOT being able to control his sloppiness, haha I've done many of the things you suggested, the only thing I have yet to get set up is the hammock, however that's next on my list :) I guess my main things is the bottom of the cage, I can't seem to figure out whats best :dono since is wire... I've looked at all the pictures of the cages here, and ohhhed and awweed haha... some are so luxurious :) its so hard to see whats in the bottom... any suggestions on that? :thinking :D :thankyou
