Calcium powder supplementation

I have a question about calcium powder. I have always sprinkled calcium powder on all my babies fruits and vegetable. I was wondering what kind (if any) everybody else uses on theirs. Is there a prefered type?:thinking

I was told to use the one pets store have for reptiles, but i haven't, supplements have a tendency to cause kidney and other problems I have a picky eater and i am feeding him HHr

He is not as into them as he was a few days ago when he got his first one, so I may be looking for something myself.
What do you use??

My rehabber is the one who told me to always use it. I use the one from the bird section. She never specified. At the time I had many questions and they weren't eating food yet so I didnt think to ask then.:dono
