Butters is getting to be ~6.5 wks old and becoming very active, her personality is starting to come out. She occasionally does this thing where she will nibble a finger, like she is grooming, then she will firmly but lightly grab onto a chunk and either push or pull it. Sometimes shes tries to push it away, sometimes she tries to drag my finger with her. It is quite entertaining.
What is your squirrels strangest behavior?

how cute :) Sounds like she's teething and it's time to provide her with something to gnaw on - like little apple tree sticks or small twigs from outside...make sure not to pick them off the ground (possible toxins) and to put them in the microwave for a minute or 2 with a cup of water on the side (so as not to overheat your microwave but to kill all the toxins).
ALSO... it's time to introduce rodent blocks too. Don't introduce fruit or sweets or nuts yet: if you do that she' will not want to eat the rodent blocks and those are ESSENTIAL for proper nutrition for her later. Best get her used to them now and she'll be happy to much on them and just make a mess with them at first but it provides some nutrition and great entertainment in the process :)

Oh, we have that covered :) She has her sticks, rodent blocks and of course her house to chew up. She is very entertaining, to say the least!!

Awww. I miss that age. Haven't had any new babies in a while. :Love_Icon
Lulu does "Bunny Hops" as I call it. She arches her back and has her tail board straight going up her back and her nose to the "ground" and hops repeatedly in place with her eyes closed. She does it when she gets excited and when we play. Cutest thing ever. She has been doing it since she was a baby and is now about a year and 5 months old. :)

Good grief, Sammy often suddenly tries to carry off one of my fingers...:jump
That or he suddenly decides there is something of interest inside my ear :jump Which I have to admit scares me...:rotfl
My ear + Sammy's teeth = a trip to the ER...:sanp3
P.S. Sammy is over a year old...not a baby!
