I found d a diagram and list of all fruit and veggies that were safe for squirrels on here a long time ago. I can't find it now. Does anyone know of a good site. I feed mine fresh veggies, rodent block, and a few nuts. I have a sick one so I have freaked myself out and would like another list to follow...

You're looking at the ratios to get more calcium, less phosphorus.

Wow! Thank you! I noticed the "*". What did those mean. Is there anything besides peanuts that I should definitely stay away from? Did I hear to not give them dried fruits and veggies? Also where can you find the monkey biscuits?

I have monkey biscuits that I would be happy to share if you PM your address. I was informed by Sammy in no uncertain terms that he is NOT a monkey! He won't even look at them! Also have some rodent block that I can share.:sanp3

If SammysMom can share that is great. If not they are the one's called Zupreem primate biscuits. I get mine from a Lab food company near my house but I am sure you can order them. SammysMom where do you get yours?
Marty
I will look at the * and see what that referenced.

In each section the *,** or *** means something different. I copied this list from an old post that did not include the references. I will list what they mean for each section. They are very important reference points. Please copy these and use with the earlier list for safety.
under the Healthy Vegetables section ;
* means
avocado* = avocado pits and skins are toxic . Remove pits and skin. Avocado is also high in fat.
carrots**,pumpkin*, squash(all types)**, sweet potato**= Very high in Vit A . Do not feed more than 1 tablespoon per month to avoid toxcity
Under the Wild Foods section;
carnations*, chrysanthemums**, roses**= avoid florists flowers , they are often treated with chemicals or dyed and can be toxic.
Under the Healthy Treats section
Banana*=Higher in sugars or starches
Cherries, sweet*= The pits and seeds of some fruits can be toxic, except for berries.
Crabapples*= Wash all fruits before feeding and avoid seeds and skin. Also limit fruits to avoid overweight and diabetes
Mangos*= Avoid pits and skin. Also high in sugars
Grapes*= Avoid skin. Can be a choking hazard. High in sugars
Pomegranates*= Avoid seeds and skin. High in sugars. Limit fruits to avoid diabetes and overweight.
If I see any more warning I will pass them along.
Also fried fruits are too high in sugar. Not suggested to feed.
