I bought this for my first set of squirrels when they were older and I put it in the feeder outside now. It has a little bit of everything; the regular rodent block, whole peanuts, even bits of fruit! Here is the product: http://www.kaytee.com/products/fiesta-max-ratmouse.php

How do y'all feel about this? Do you think it's a good product?

It may be ok for outside critters. The blue bag product line from Kay-Tee (Forti-Diet for Rats & Mice) is much better for squirrels...especially as a rodent block to raise baby squirrels on. :thumbsup

Sorry, it is a MBD maker for sure. What happens is they pick out only the bad stuff in the mix and never touch the block. I suggest you put it outside and use only block. I know, I have been there... done that.

Oops IR beat me to it... by seconds.

Yeah, I don't give it to the babies (I dont have any inside adults). It certainly has the potential to make them picky not to mention the MBD. It seems to work ok outside because the straight blocks fall apart in the weather. The birds will take the little bits that I suppose are meant for mice. It has some pieces that have the look/texture of melba toast/dog food that are dyed and can make a colorful mess when wet but the squirrels seem like them.
