Hi,
My three guys are 4 months old and I'm feeding 1 hhb in AM and another in the PM and a very large plate of assorted vegetables in the afternoon. I've been doing the same amount of hhb (although picking the larger blocks as they ate more) It was a nice progression, some block left over and then no block left over and if I gave them more, they would definitely eat it. Last Saturday each weighed in around a pound - they are fox squirrels. They look good, the male is slimmer, but I think because he is so much more active and more on the wild side. It's very interesting to watch them and their behaviors.
Also, some of the blocks are very different in size, so sometimes I'm feeding two blocks at a feeding - using the largest size as the judge :) Does this sound right or should they be fed more as they get older? I've definitely increased the amount of vegetables - always a variety, but they mostly like avacado, cherry tomato, broccoli, green beans, yellow squash. Thanks.
