Little blood on syring

Sometimes when I feed my little girl she will leave a little blood residue on the tip of the syringe. This has happened only twice. I have looked in her mouth afterwards and cant find an injury. She is 7/8 weeks old and very healthy otherwise.

Teething. They get pretty enthusiastic with those syringes!

Be happy it is just a little....I remember last year...Sebastian...OMG, the amount of blood....thank goodness I knew what it was, I think I would have died if I didn't seeing that much blood! lol

I remember the first time this happened to me when I was formula-feeding babies at my local Wildlife Rehab Clinic~~ I was like omG no! because if there were any dental issues, the clinic would've euthanized the poor little guy~~ but no, it was just teething and it stopped as soon as it started.
