guys this may be a stupid question but is Tree sap good for a squirrel? the branch i put in there is "bleeding" sap XD and bruce just loves to lap that up :O:crazy

No idea if it is good or not, but my thinking is that if he was in the wild and found it he would eat it, so i would have thought it would be ok for him

Not going to hurt him, sap is a nutritious food source eaten by many forest creatures along with squirrels.

just make sure it's a safe tree (not all trees and plants are safe for them, some are poisonous)

There aren't any stupid questions here Bruce. We are all learning and those more experience will always have good advice for you. My guys love the tree sap but like Astra said make sure it is safe....and prepare to have the little ones get sticky. for some reason Bushy gets it EVERYWHERE!!! Oh and I forgot to mention in your post about the baths, you can always give the a box of dirt or wood chips that don't have dust in them. Our guys love to take dirt & chip baths and it's fun to watch. No cedar though!
