Hi,
I have 3 male baby grays that are about 11-12 weeks old that I have been raising since they were about 3.5 weeks old. I have renamed one Houdini because he seems to be able to get out of the cages I have used for previous squirrel orphans. I have ordered "Henry's House" but it will not be here for a few days yet and I am desperate to let these guys out of the small safe cage they are in so they can get some exercise and play together.
My problem is that my house (and my husband) is not squirrel proof and I have 2 dogs and a cat as well. I do have a screened pool deck and also an enclosed breezeway but both have plants and I am unsure if they are safe.
Can anyone advise me about the following: breezeway: scheffelera, shrimp plant, peace lily, croton; pool deck: boston fern, Hawaiian Tai, maiden hair fern, cast iron plant, rain lily, split leaf philodendron.
I realize that If they visit the pool deck they must be under constant supervision.
And how exactly do you squirrel proof a house or room?
Thanks for the help.:)
