Rumbling Tummy

What would make the squirrels stomach gurgle? I have never heard it before but it sure was this evening. He is fine so far, but when I hear something I have never heard before it worries me. Anyone with any ideas? Have they ever heard their squirrels stomach gurgle like hunger pangs?

Depends on if it was his tummy or his bowels. If the latter, you might expect some diarrhea. Tummy? If you lay you ear against anyone's tummy or upper bowels, you can hear gurgling.
