my little foxer girl is around 14-15 weeks old and shes still so tiny. i gave her all the nutrition she needed fed her every few hours when she was an infant and now she gets plenty fresh veggies, and few nuts and her squirrel blocks. she gets plenty of play time and cuddle time. she seems perfectly healthy and happy but from what ive seen online of sizes of foxers shes only about the size of a 6-7 week old. she can still fit in my hand, i love her tiny size but i was just wondering if there was something wrong or if shes just small or if this is normal thanks!

Haha thanks! I wasn't sure where a good place to post this would be. I'll weigh her tonight and put up so pictures when I get off work, but she seems completely healthy loves playing and climbing around. She's a little chubby belly haha but I had her on puppy milk and heavy whipping cream for the added fat, got told this by a friend who worked at a rehab place. She seems perfectly preportionate just small in stature.

Oh and she was eating about 6-8 ccs every few hours. I fed her till she wasn't clutching the syringe for dear life

:grouphug well i worried cause she reminds me of an esbilac baby ....

they changed the formula a couple of years ago and most people don't realise ..not even the larger shelters....

so now it's completely not recommended for squirrels....

the best formula for them is fox valley and fox valley ultra boost together....

i hope you'll have many suggestions for her....

so what exactly was the name of the formula that you gave her???

...it would give us a clue to what nutrition she was/might have been missing and how you could help her to catch up ... if there's any catching up to do.....

:)

heres some pictures of her, all within the last 2 weeks. shes healthy and not too skinny or anything, i just know that all the squirrels around my house are so much bigger than her and she is already almost 4 months old and i thought she should be a lot bigger in size, not weight.

Please check out my threads on HENRY - he is my Mini Florida Grey and he is almost 4 months old and even though I started him out on the Good Stuff (Fox Valley & HHB) and have feed him all the right vegetables and nuts he has insisted on staying small in nature even though he is healthy and growing into the looks of a regular adult Squirrel...... Henry still fits in the palm of My Hand. :Love_Icon
