I have an Indian plam squirrel,1 year old....since last night her body has been shivering..she's lost her appetite and not eating anything...plus she's acting aggressive...recently I have her urine for testing and it showed up like bacteria in urine..I gave her some anti-bacterial tabs..I also gave her de-worming tablet..I hope it's not overdose of de-worming tablet that has led to her body shivering and stuff..I don't know why is her body shivering.why is she not eating, why is she acting aggressive. The same thing had happened one month ago.But i gave her honey and milk,B complex syrup and she was super fine the next day.And now she's even refusing to drink milk. Can some one tell me what could be the possible reason?...the cause of her body shivering, not eating and aggressive behaviour? Thank you.:thankyou

Aggressive behavior could be from pain or discomfort

do you have any calcium...
tablets..
how about antacid...like Tums..
this sounds like seizures...
when did yoiu worm her?
with what medicine, can you tell us the name and the amount?
do you know her weight?
Did you feed Royal Canine as a formula?
what formula...does she still take formula...how old is she?
sorry for all the questions, they will expedite and help the rehabbers know what's going on...hugs...
like FE said...keep her warm, very important..
do you have anything other than honey...maple syrup??? molasses?
corn syrup...if so...rub a dab on her gums to get her blood sugars up...
go slow, but again try to feed her a hydration solution..(pedialyte)
To make it yourself.
2 cups warm water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
mix and warm, syringe feed slowly

pain indicators are ..
pinched pleated ears
spikey standing hair
chittering teeth
hunched position, head down

some of these postures are also indicative of other issues...
I would guess , low calcium, but not enough solid info...
it will not hurt to start a calcium push..

what do you have there?

First of all Thanks for the answers..I don't understand if this is pain or discomfort..I give her cow milk..and she's been having that since one year..I know of many squirrel care takers who give cow's milk..at first when I started I had no idea about esbilac puppy formula and hence I continued with cow's milk....it played pretty safe so far..I give her just 5 cc of milk per day..she is one year old now...no I haven't given any calcium supplements so far..the vet had asked me to de-worm her since she hadn't been de-wormed for 1 year.Well, her weight is 160-180 grams (keeps fluctuating between 160-180 grams)...I've answered ur question but let me tell u about her diet..here's the list...................

Pomegranate
Corn
Cherries (seasonal)
Grapes
Tomato
Pine-nuts
Almonds
Walnuts
Raisins
Hamster/Rodent food and treats
Carrots
Coriander
Peas
Prunes ect
Milk....
this is her diet....
About her history I'll say that she was absolutelu fine until 9 months of age and now since 4 months she's got ear infection (which I am treating under an exotic vet) she has mites and then it got cured but left behind a secondary fungal ear infection...Thank y'all again for the answers..any idea of what can I do??.... :| m soo confused. :thinking .m taking her to the vet tomorrow if this continues...:)
