Hello All, Im looking for a room-mate for my squirrel, he is about 7 weeks old, and I will need to take care of him over the winter. I was hoping to find another squirrel so he would have company. I am a lic. wildlife rehabber located in Greenwood Lake NY, please contact me if you have a young squirrel looking for a room-mate.

Hang around, tell us a bit about yourself, experence and your fuzz butt. Ireane left a lot of orphaned babies, many that have to be over-wintered. You just may be able to find a cage mate for your little one on here directly.

I am releasing everybody today but I will keep ears & eyes open for a little pal for your fuzzer. Looks like Orange County had a third baby season this year, too...:osnap. Hope Mother Nature is not making a habit of this.....:D

Wow! I can't believe I have gotten responses already from my thread! Thanks to all who have welcomed me. Iv been a rehabber for a couple of years now, but always need some advice . I don't know it all! I am pretty good with keeping the squirrels wild, but this one is gonna be tough. Keeping "Oscar" over the winter wont be easy, I feel bad for him, I find myself spoiling him. He is a mammas boy. Once again thanks to all that responded.
