No Tylenol for squirrels. Infant Motrin would be the thing for pain. I don't know what the dosage would be ... one of the rehabbers could tell you and should be here soon. What kind of wound are we talking about? We also need to know the age and the weight of this baby in order to dose. So maybe you can prepare that in the meanwhile. Best repost this in Help Needed - Non life threatening

I've moved your thread. How was this baby injured? What is her approximate weight, so we can give you a dosage for the infant Motrim? Scooterzmom is correct -- NO Tylenol. Too harsh on the liver.

she is 5 and 1/2 months old. her tail , about and inch long on the end was pulled off in an accident with my grandaughter. the tail bone is still there, but the skin and hair were severed. the vet told me to put neosporin plus on the tail twice a day, but offered nothing for pain. i know she is hurting because she has woken up 3 times since her bedtime at 7pm. that is not normal for her, she sleeps like a log and only gets up for bathroom breaks. i dont have scales, so i dont know how much she weighs, but she is normal size for a squirrel her age, healthy, happy (until tonight), and full of energy.

Aw, I did this to my baby, too. A little neosporin and it heals fine. The bone part will turn black and fall off. Do keep an eye out for chewing - if that starts up, and the sore part is being irritated by chewing, please let us know.
This happened to me two years ago and I still beat myself up about it...
