I am not new to raising squirrels though this is only my second flyer..the baby I'm pretty dure is female...my sister is a vet tech and someone brought the baby into her, and she brought it to me...I have no idea the age...hoping you could help...she ate a small amount of puppy esbilac tonight...i know they are nocternal, but my sister said it hadnt eaten much all day...I have a piece of Apple and some seeds in with her as well, she's sweet as can be...I will probably keep her...I don't know if shes just been scared from the fall...but shes not dehydrated...I don't see any injury and she is very active...how do I post a picture?

If your account isn't fully activated yet try uploading it at www.imageshack.us and posting the forum image link they give you.

Click on the paper clip in the toolbar next to the happy face. Then browse your computer to find the photo to post. It is important that we see a photo in order to help and nobody can see your FB picture unless they friend you. So give this a try.

In the meantime, if you have a heating pad, place it under half of whatever carrier you're keeping her in, with a cloth in between. And put a little dish of water in with her.
She probably shouldn't be eating straight Esbilac and most people would recommend against it altogether, instead using Fox Valley. I don't think seeds are the best idea either but one of the experts can weigh in there. The apple is great. Is she nibbling it?

Ok I'm using my phone...no paper clip...i diluted the esbilac premade with water 1/2 and 1/2 ate very little....is the goats milk any better....I could get that...not sure if my feed store sells fox valley and were far from pet stores....lol....I have another concern though.....I dont beloved she's dehydrated but I did try giving her a lil water with syrjnge just on her lips....but when i was holding her she was breathing a little funny...I really dont ghink she aspirated the water....when I put her back down the funny breathing stopped she curled up in a ball and went go sleep....a few hours later I went to check on her....fine not making any noise....when I picked her up she did it again....is this something they do or should i be worried...it only lasts for a minute....

Goats milk, totally. Ebsilac is poison anymore.

Yes, get the goat's milk. And use the special recipe. Did she eat any of the apple?
Email the photos of her to me and I will post them. mstein1000@aol.com
