My 8-9 week old gray is doing great! Had a little bout with white runny stool but have adjusted feeding and now we are back on track. My question is she sticks!! She smells like sour formula from the runny stool, plus when I feed her she makes a mess of her feet and face!! LOL She use to sit so still and gaze lovingly at me while i wiped her face and feet. NO MORE!!! LOL She is wild and feeding is about the only time she holds still HAHA
My question is can i wet her down with a warm wash cloth to clean her up some as long as she gets warm right after? I dont want her getting sick, but she really stinks!!

Thanks for everyones help with my first baby!
One more thing, she will be ready for release when its getting pretty cold out, do i need to wait until spring? i am planning on putting her out during the day for about a week and then over night for at least another week.
What do you think?

8-9 weeks is too young to be outside IMO.
Depending on where you live and what's available to eat during the winter months as to when to release..
we love pics!!!

Yes, of course you can clean her up as long as she can get warm to dry off. Good luck with that! At this age they sure do have opinions on things.

but seriously you do need to bathe/clean her ... otherwise the formula will stick to her skin/fur... etc.... but make sure she's warm... 100% ..no chills...

She's not digesting the formula.....try limiting her to 8cc, 4x a day and see if it clears up. What kind of veggies is she eating? Some will have loose poops from certain veggies like corn or fruits such as apple....

i give her a healthy block (not too interested) a slice of green pepper, broccoli, asparagus, snow pea and spring mix. (she loves the snow pea, ginda plays with the rest)

she gets a grape maybe once a week for a treat.

her poop was fine, not sure what the heck happened!!!
Thanks!

Well that wasnt as bad as i thought it would be!! My 17yr old daughter held her while i washed her down!! She yelled some and when i was done drying her, she ran down my shirt and slept in my bra for about 2 hrs LOL Ate dinner with her down there and everything!!! HA HA
poop has turned to greenish and brown and firmed up some. Feeding less amounts of formula at a time.
Thanks for all of your input and help!!!
