Need Winter Home for baby Red Squirrel

There is someone in need of a person to take a red squirrel and over winter him. He is in the Indianapolis area. From what I understand there is only about a week to find such a person. ( I dont know why...Im afraid to ask)
Please if any of you are near the area...or know someone near the area....let me know!!!!
If cage materials and food are needed I am willing to help out with cost...also gas money.

His last log in on a different board was 9-15. This info was sent by a friend in my email. I pm'ed him on the other board so hopefully he will respond. It is my understanding that some TSB members are already aware and have been trying to contact him....no reply.
Lets just keep trying and see what happens.

Wow....so what do you suppose is going to happen to this baby girl?? I thought someone had said he lets her run around outside with him....judging by the pics...she is WAY to young to even be out of a nest...EVEN for a red. The ears are still laid back.

My guess is that she got away from him since he was letting her run around outside or died from lack of proper nutrition. Yes she looks WAY to young to be on her own. Poor little thing.

Before I even read this.....its my exact thought! It really blows when people wont listen because they are swollen with ego. Only thing that suffers is the animal. (OMG I just said blows....i've been hanging with my kids too much lately. LOL)

I don't know how desperate the situation is, but I'm in Dayton, OH until the morning of Wednesday the 28th.

Don't get me started about all the red flags, I know them already.

I can't drive the 2 hours 1 way and back, but I'd do the rest.

i live in southern indiana and i would be able to home the squirrel for this winter, if they could meet me in Bloomington indiana i could pick it up there.

Still waiting to hear from the guy.
Honestly I think the squirrel may have escaped or expired. Hence the absolute NO response from numerous emails and pm's on two different boards.
He was warned about the puppy milk...and also letting her run around outside.
