Could this possibly be the start of Squirrel Pox in a three week old squirrel?
Owner said she's had the squirrel since Friday and they just came up on the squirrel..... little bumps all around the genitals, lower extremities and feet - with scabs.

I know im the new kid on the block and all but with the amount of research I have absorbed on squirrel pox these past 3 weeks it doesnt look like it to me more like ant bites? :thinking

Yeah - I was thinking ants bites too - except the small bumps that are on this baby are not exactly ant like material and the owner had the baby
prior to the marks/bumps coming up on the squirrel :dono (so I wanted a 2nd opinion) to be sure ...... but one never knows - RIGHT!!

Fire ant bites.
A baking soda paste (or just a bath in warm water with baking soda) soothes the itch, relieves the pain, and helps them heal faster.

You said she has only had the little tyke for a few days...my children and myself are allergic to the little buggers (fire ants) and two days to the nose we get the puss filled pimples that continue to pop, ooze, crust and start all over again! =/
Pox are more cyst like, swell up, wrinkle the skin and then eventually start oozing....not one of its booboos look like it from what I can tell.
Pediatric Benedryl is our savior in this house! Also I make a baking soda paste mixed with 100%Aloe Vera juice and they are gone next day. I have read that Infant Benadryl can be used on squirrels, not sure if the aloe can be used but if you think it can definitely give it a try! (you know alot more than I do) The jug I buy is from Walmart and it works great (on humans) for sunburns, bruises, scrapes, colds etc. best of luck to the little one and im crossing my fingers for it to be ants not pox!! :)
