Hey everyone!

I know everyone feeds a little differently, but how do you mix your Fox Valley formula? Do you add cream or yogurt? Do you supplement with other foods/liquids besides formula? I am particularly interested in 5 week old squirrel needs, but please share what you have had success with and what age squirrel to benefit others who may have younger or older squirrels.

Also calcium seems to be important? What do you do to meet Ca needs at each age?

Thanks!:D

LandraFV has everything in it that your little 5 week old needs.... :thumbsup

You only need to add yogurt to the mix IF you are concerned about tummy issues or want to ensure they eat the FV longer than normal.

You only needs to add cream to the mix IF your baby is under weight (skinny) and needs a little extra calories to the mix.... other wise
I wouldnt bother with the cream as it can cause diarrhea in some squirrels.

Keep feeding the FV for a few more weeks and around 7-8 weeks old you introduce a good squirrel block to the mix...... we recommend HHB or HT.

Then after your little guy has accepted the block as part of his daily diet (2 per day) they you can add in healthy vegetables, wild plants..... and
later on some fruits and healthy nuts as treats.

Many of our GOOD squirrel folks here add cream or yogurt to the FV, with great success.
I never add anything to the FV, with great success. (Except their own product, Ultra Boost, if I have a skinny baby. )

Answer: you gotta see what works for you, with your water in your area, and your particular babies. :peace
