Hello!

I found Oliver the day before Labor Day, when one of my cats brought him inside. She wasn't hurting him; in fact, she tried to protect him from our big dog Luna(Lulu). We think she brought him inside because he was screaming and she thought he was her baby. Well his screaming woke me up and I rushed down to save him. He was quite the adorable thing and it was love at first sight. I didn't have the heart to put him back outside, so I called my husband to see what I needed to do. He wasn't sure, so I turned to the internet and found information on emergency care. We didn't have anything to feed him and didn't have the money to get it till the next day, so we decided that if he survived the night on what we could do for him, we would keep him. And Oliver did! My husband has fallen in love with him too and we don't have the heart to give him up. We guess he's about 5 weeks old, and as of yesterday Oliver has opened his eyes!

This is Oliver the day after I found him:

And this is Oliver as of this Morning(9-15-11)

Oh goodness what a little baby cakes all curled up in a ball... oh I remember the day all too well when my Scrat looked like that. Now he's big and very Sassy! I'll get a Picture up here soon, when I figure out how to haha. Just joined not too long ago myself. I love being around people who loves critters as much as I do.

:Welcome Glad you found TSB! Oliver is a little darling. Isn't it amazing how quickly they wrap those tiny paws around your heart?

Best wishes for the both of you and thanks for rescuing him.
