I have a 3-4 month old squirrel that probably has pneumonia. Are there any store meds I can buy for him? And how much do I give him? Tips for giving it to him?

Sorry about the second post but my other reached a dead end. If I am to understand correctly pneumonia must be treated quickly, and no one was actually helping me. Just asking a bunch of questions without providing me answers. Lots of support, but also a little criticism as well it appears. The rehaber I was talking with went offline after recommending baytril, but I need store meds and a proper answer by tomorrow.

I don't know his weight and no one said anything about his diet. He has a heating pad under his cage with an auto shut off after 1 and a half hours, and an old shirt to help keep him warm.

PLEASE. If you don't have an answer don't post. I know you guys care and offer your support.:grouphug

If there are no store meds to give him let me know. That counts as an answer.

:thankyou

There are no 'store meds' that I am aware of for pneumonia (which you are not sure this is what you are dealing with...but upper respiratory...baytril is the drug of choice for a ground squirrel, which unfortunately, you hve to get through a vet...unless a rehabber near you could help you out.
