Question about the nibbling blocks

Hammy is knawing on everything, the towel he is wrapped in, my fingers, whatever he can get his mouth on. Should I buy him a block or is he just knawing as a taste tester? Thanks!!

Squirrels like to gnaw / nibble almost nonstop...... I would suggest you buy some good squirrel block for him to eat --as well as lace some tree branches and other safe wood items in his cage for him to gnaw on...... this help to keep his teeth trimmed down so they do not have to be manually cut.
