Thought everything had straightened out since taking Bliss off the esbilac and switching to fv. Have had hard pellets since switching about 2 weeks ago but 48 hours ago she started having really soft stools again. The only thing that I can think I have done different is put some large tree limbs from my yard into her cage- could this be the problem? She is approximately 8 weeks old and eating her rodent block and getting her formula 4 times a day. In all other respects she seems to be just fine but this has me concerned. Any help is greatly appreciated- you have been a godsend already. Thanks- Paula

Is she drinking straight FV or do you add the yogurt and cream to the mix? - if yes, try removing the cream and see if that helps....... If NO, try adding some yougrt.

She may not need that 4th feeding at 8 weeks. Most of the time mine are on 3x/day by 7 weeks, and they stay on that schedule pretty much until they start giving up feedings themselves. If her poop was light-colored and mushy, my bet is that she's just not needing that much formula anymore. :peace

Just fed her this morning- 8 hours since last feeding. She acted ravenous- had her hv and is now chewing on her rodent block. Have been adding yogurt to the fv but no whipping cream. Her stools seem to be looser this morning than yesterday but she acts fine. What am I doing wrong?
