This morning when I feed Lila at six I noticed she sounded stoped up when she breathed. U know the way a kid does when they have a cold? Anyways I used my kids nose sucker outer thing and cleared out her nose. She doesn't sound stoped up anymore but now her nose us running. I have been checking on her about every hour and each time it is runny. She climbed on me for about an hour this morning and was acting fine but had the runny nose. Do squirrels get colds? I have a vet that can see her and give me antibiotics if y'all think it is necessary but I don't wan to do anything that will harm her! I have some SMZ at the house but it says it expired three days ago :osnap any suggestions or feed back would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Oh and she weighed in at a whopping 190g this morning!!

I hope she is ok. 190g??? Jeez, Dusty has some catching up to do!

Runny noses aren't normal. Anything new in her habitat? Did you wash things in a detergent that might have left some smell behind?

And don't worry about 3 days expired SMZ - it is FINE.

No have washed everything in what I normally do! Should I give her the SMZ? And if so what would the dosage be? Or should I take her and let my vet look at her?

Lila has been on SMZ for two days now and still have a little bit of a runny nose. It's much better but still there. Does this mean the abx r working? Lol prob but just want to make sure by now u all know I'm a worrier! Hahaha and also when is she supposed to get her upper teeth? She will be aprox 7 weeks Sunday and eyes have been open for almost two weeks. She has had her bottom ones just no top ones yet

Keep up the SMP, it is wonderful for runny noses too. Don't worry about upper teeth-they will come in at God's clock!

Lol, careful what you wish for. Dusty has tops & bottoms now and bit me in the butt this morning because he was trying to crawl under me and I wouldn't move!!:D :D
