A rehabber will be here shortly. Can you give us more details? Is Waffles a squirrel? How old? Just a brief history will help.

Yes sheis I rscued her about 11/2 years ago she weighs about 1.5 lbs maybe 2 lbs. lol. We have been through alot she had no hair and her eyes were still closed when I got her. She has been through MBD we got through that about 1 year ago she has been healthy and active and part of the family she just doesn't act like she feels good today she won't let me handle her. I took her outside for a bit and she layed in the sun but now she is just laying in her blanky and she has been sneezing alot I have some orabax from last year she had an abcess on her foot that the vet drained and we gave her the antibiotics as a precaution. But i just do not know what to do. I am worried.

I read up on that drug - looks like it is a relative of Baytril, which is good. If she is lethargic and sneezing indicating a upper respiratory infection, then this stuff looks like a good match...

Can you put in a rice buddy with her too. Take a tube sock, add 1 cup uncooked rice, tie at the top and microwave it for 1 minute. Feel the sock and kind of squash the rice around so there are no hot spots, wrap it in fleece and put it next to her...they usually love these when they aren't feeling well.:grouphug

Yes I have a few rice buddies they are GREAT! I am just concerned and can't remember the dose on the orbax. I do not want to give her to much

Wonder if you tried hydrating her with a syringe....she may like being babied. Poor little peanut....:Love_Icon :grouphug :Love_Icon

If she uses a water bottle, Sammy likes it if I give the bottle a gentle squeeze while he drinks from it and I think he drinks a whole lot more that way. I do agree that when he is "having a day", a little extra hydration goes a long way! Of course now if I am in the room he sits at the water bottle looking at me until I go squeeze the bottle for the lazy little weasel...:jump
:grouphug for Waffles feeling better SOON!!
