I have had Ozzie a week. I started himout on the homemade pedialyte for 24 hours and then added in the fox valley 32/40 alternating with some pedialyte every 3-4 syringes. He has been doing great, but thismorning I noticed that his poo is cream colored and soft. He laso does NOT want anything to do with the FV thismorning but drank his pedialyte eagerly??? Help with any suggestions as I know he can't survivie on water. HE acts fine and looks fine, but I am concerned about his poo.

Light soft poop is usually overfeeding. What is his weight and how much and how often do you feed?

He is taking about 5-6 cc every 4-5 hours. Too much??? He is approx 5 weeks.
He acts like hs is starving every time I feed.

Do you know his weight?

Did you say you have been giving him pedialyte in between feedings for a week? If so, stop IMMEDIATELY. Pedialyte should not be given for more than 24 hours - way, way too much salt.

Feel free to continue to hydrate in between feedings, but please use plain water, or water with a little apple juice or similar (no citrus) in it.

I'm not sure on his weight and will most definatley stop use of the pedialyte mixture and go to straight water. Also has a henrys block in with him that he n ibbles on as well.
Thank you for our help I sooooo appreciate it. Thank GOD for this board.

Give him some of the no salt hydration for a bit and then try food again. Without a weight it is VERY hard to determine how much to feed him. Can you post a picture of him? The white poop is overfeeding (yes, they are pigs and will eat more than they should) so try reducing it by 1cc and see what happens. A pic would REALLY help.
