You guys know my main issue was that Boo Boo's would only eat a couple cc's in a sitting, even if I tried to feed him for ten or so plus minutes... WELL, I noticed he likes to nibble on any leftover food I have on my bedstand (a peach or an apple) So I decided to place a bowl on his formula there and well, he will sit and eat for a few seconds and leave... than he'll come back, eat a bit, than leave, and keep doing that for a half an hour or so (I usually like to clean it up pretty soon after making it, I'm not sure how long it can last outside of the fridge after being made)

So, maybe that's just how he is.... he doesn't like to eat one sitting, but a bunch of little sittings... So, I'm happy :D

In between his little "sittings" (he has about 10 or so sittings now, considering how little he eats at each) he PLAYS so hard! I'm just glad I figured out how to feed him AND let him play at the same time... I couldn't calm him down enough to eat...so I leave the food out and he gets to it on his own, than I clean it up :)

QUESTION TIME!

So Boo Boo's is about fully grown, he just has some filling out to do.. Well, he's extremely hyper....It's taken me over ten minutes to write this much.... He's constantly jumping at my face or on my hands..tries to hump my hands a lot as well, and bolting across my room... this goes on for hours and doesn't seem to end... is he ever going to calm down...or is this him? I feel like I need to sit in the living room to get things done...because he free roams my room...(hates to sit in his cage...) He is like a cat or dog, free roaming.. just my room tho.. So, that's that... is it just because he's young? Or is he just...this hyper?

he's a red i think?

hyper... so much ...one of the most difficult to hand raise just because of the activity level ....

but hang in there.....

hopefully other people that have raised reds will chime in .....

Thank you, I made an actual thread and I got a response. I'm doing okay, haha, I just wanted to know if he'd calm down.

I wish he had a litter mate, than they could play together, versus him attacking my face... I DO play with him at LEAST four or so hours a day... we're in CONSTANT contact because he's always outside his cage....so when I'm not PLAYING with him, he's attacking me haha (not attacking as in he's angry...just being hyper)
